different ways to revisit IV and cannulation knowledge,
identify gaps and plan their next steps.

OPTION 1 • ONLINE LEARNING
💻 IV & Cannulation Masterclass
Get back into the learning without travelling to Manchester.
Revisit the principles behind the equipment,
preparation and technique.
What will we revisit?
Equipment and supplies:
understanding the kit and its purpose.
Preparation principles:
protocol awareness and the importance of appropriate
product instructions and clinical directions.
Cannulation:
revisiting technique, common difficulties and errors.
Practical do’s and don’ts:
the details that are easy to forget.
Risk awareness:
recognising your limits and when further support is needed.
A knowledge refresh, rather than a practical sign-off.
This option does not include live practical assessment
or certify your current competence to treat clients.
OPTION 2 • LEARNING + CONVERSATION

Includes the online masterclass plus a one-to-one
educational video call tailored to your questions.
Bring your notebook and the things you keep meaning to ask.
Use your session to:
Talk through topics from the masterclass.
Revisit areas you found difficult during previous training.
Discuss general equipment and preparation questions.
Identify knowledge gaps and further learning needs.
Work out whether practical refresher training is your next step.
Questions welcome. Live treatment is not part of the call.
This is educational mentoring, not patient-specific advice,
prescribing or remote clinical supervision.
Please do not arrange treatment on a model during the session.

Join us at The Studio in Gatley, Manchester,
for focused learning and feedback.
Tell us what you want to revisit before attending.
We can then discuss a suitable session rather than
assuming everyone needs the same refresh.
Your session can focus on:
Revisiting equipment selection and preparation.
Reviewing cannulation technique.
Discussing the practical difficulties you have experienced.
Receiving tutor observation and feedback on agreed activities.
Identifying where further training or assessment is needed.
Speak to us before booking this option.
Practical activities and any live-model participation must
be agreed in advance following checks of your prior training,
suitability, insurance and applicable clinical arrangements.
Live-model treatment is not automatically guaranteed.

relevant IV and/or cannulation training.
They are not a substitute for initial training.
We may ask to see your existing certificates and discuss
your recent experience before confirming suitability.
If a refresher is not enough for your needs,
we will explain that.
