The aesthetics sector is moving towards greater structure around education, competency and practitioner standards.
Our focus is on helping learners build recognised qualifications and clear progression rather than collecting disconnected training certificates.
Qualifi aesthetics qualifications are Ofqual-regulated, with defined learning outcomes, assessment requirements and qualification levels.
This creates a structured education pathway where learners can develop competence at the appropriate level before progressing further.
Progression That Reflects Sector Expectations.
The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners has developed education, training and competency standards for the aesthetics sector and places clear emphasis on appropriate progression between qualification levels.
JCCP guidance also recognises the role of Ofqual-regulated qualifications delivered through recognised awarding organisations as part of structured aesthetics education.
The final requirements of the proposed licensing framework have not yet been confirmed in legislation. However, building regulated qualifications, competency and progression now places practitioners on a structured educational pathway as the sector develops.

Alongside occupational and clinical training, Michelle holds formal education, assessment and internal quality assurance qualifications, supporting the delivery and assessment of regulated education.
Where Do
I Start?
Not everyone enters regulated aesthetics education in the same place.
Your existing qualifications, CPD training and relevant industry experience are reviewed before enrolment so we can advise which qualification is appropriate for you.
Practitioners who already hold an appropriate Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent may be suitable for the Level 4 Certificate, while learners progressing from CPD without an Ofqual Level 3 may be better suited to the broader Level 4 Diploma route.
