This is an advanced regulated qualification. We'll check your existing qualifications before enrolment and make sure you have the required supporting qualifications in place.
What You'll Need
A Level 5 qualification in Aesthetic Practice or an equivalent qualification.
A current Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis Management qualification.
Needlestick Injury, Infection Prevention and Control qualification.
Applicants must be aged 19 or over and have sufficient English proficiency to complete the theory and assessments.

You'll develop the advanced knowledge, clinical decision-making and practical competence required to plan and perform skin booster procedures safely.
Level 6 Learning
Legal, ethical and professional frameworks, accountability and scope of practice
Advanced skin anatomy, surface landmarks, danger zones and safe injection planning
Skin booster science, mechanisms of action, product ingredients and skin ageing
Face-to-face consultation, skin assessment, informed consent and personalised procedure planning
Skin booster injection techniques, product selection and safe practical application
Aftercare, record keeping, complications, outcome evaluation and reflective practice
How You'll Be Assessed
Summative Procedures Four skin booster procedures, including at least one body procedure.
Supervised Formative Observations A minimum of five supervised observations covering the required practical range.
Oral Questions Practical knowledge assessed alongside your observed procedures.
Short Answer Questions Assessing your Level 6 knowledge and understanding.
Professional Discussion Based on your completed portfolio of evidence.
Reflective Journal Reviewing your own performance and professional development.
