COVID-19 UPDATE

In light of the uncertainty surrounding the outbreak of Coronavirus our priority is the well-being of our students and customers.

We are currently working through all treatments and training risk assessments and they will be uploaded here for you to see.

We are following all measures and government guidelines. We are still operating as normal and safely sending out course materials. Please bear in mind, you may experience a slight delay at this time.

Information for Students attending training post COVID-19 Lockdown

You must NOT attend for training if:‌

We would ask you kindly that when you arrive at the studio you follow these protocols:

Please wash your hands on entering the building.  Hand hygiene is essential to reduce the transmission of infection. We will use a contactless thermometer to take your temperature.

All visitors must decontaminate their hands by washing with antibacterial soap and water for at least 20 seconds, taking care to systematically clean thoroughly especially under the fingernails.

Hand hygiene must be performed immediately before every episode of direct model contact and after any activity or contact that potentially results in hands becoming contaminated, including the removal of personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment decontamination and waste handling.

When managing the same model between activities you can use an alcohol-based hand rub.

Makeup Bayy – The Academy will provide you with the necessary PPE as per Government guidelines and we ask that you follow instructions given to you on the day regarding the wearing of this.

Safe Distancing

As you are aware, the treatments we are training you to deliver cannot be delivered whilst adhering to the 2 metre distancing rule but we can still abide by this when we are not delivering a treatment. It is important that you follow the safe distancing rule when and where possible.

Hygiene

Disposable, single-use tissues should be used to cover the nose and mouth when sneezing, coughing or wiping and blowing the nose – used tissues should be disposed of promptly in the nearest waste bin which will be lined.
